Laser engravers
Over the years, our company has built up extensive experience and expertise in laser engraving machines and laser cutters. We have been an authorized distributor of GCC LaserPro machines for more than 20 years. These qualitative lasers are available in many sizes and powers. A laser offers a number of advantages over a conventional engraving machine. For example, you can engrave many more materials, you can engrave razor-sharp photos & logos and you do not have to clamp or clamp objects, even the most complex pieces can be engraved quickly and easily.
Engraving and cutting with a CO² laser
Met een CO² laser kan je verschillende materialen graveren en snijden. Sommige materialen zoals metaal of steen kan je enkel graveren en niet snijden. (Wil je toch metaal kunnen snijden, kijk dan even naar onze fiber laser.) Elk materiaal vereist eigen parameters op vlak van snelheid en vermogen. Hier vind je alvast een beknopt overzicht en bijkomende info van de meest courante materialen.

Acrylaat (PMMA) | Use a lot of compressed air when cutting PMMA to prevent flame formation. | ||
Stone | Use colored through stones to create high contrast engravings. | ||
Corian | Corian is hard-wearing and water-resistant, it is often used in kitchens and bathrooms. | ||
MDF | When cutting MDF, black edges are created on the side. | ||
Leather | Leather cuts and engraves fine, but take into account strong odor nuisance. | ||
Anodised aluminum | Use dark colored aluminum for the best contrast. | ||
PVC | Engraving and cutting are fine, but the toxic smoke is harmful to your health and affects the optics of your laser. | ||
Teflon | Engraving and cutting are fine, but the toxic smoke is harmful to your health and affects the optics of your laser. | ||
Kevlar | Heat resistant and very strong synthetic fiber, was first used as a replacement for steel in racing tires. | ||
Rubber | With stamp rubber you create professional stamps that can be used for many years. | ||
Delrin (POM) | Easy to work, sturdy material. Often used as an alternative to metal. | ||
Soap | Easy to engrave and cut with a laser. You get the fresh scent for free! |
